Course Introduction:
Wellheads and X-mas trees are very important and critical components of any well. To monitor, test and repair any failed component is critical for the safe operation of the well and will boost production and keep the well out of the ‘inactive wells’ list.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the program, participants will be able to:
• Develop the knowledge relationship between surface (Well Heads) and downhole.
• Investigate leaks and identify cause of leak
• Investigate SAP pressures based on well pressure monitoring using 2 and 3 pen recorders.
• Practice barriers principles & well safety on hydraulic barriers and mechanical barriers as well as subsurface control valve packer setting and testing
• Demonstrate flanging of the wellhead, wellhead safety valves and control system
• Explain influence of corrosion models on MAASP pressures and on Well Life Cycle
Who Should Attend?
This course is intended for those who are involved in x-mas tree and wellhead operations, maintenance and testing such as field operations, production, maintenance, petroleum, reservoir and field engineers, wellhead maintenance supervisors, wellhead operations supervisors and other staff will definitely benefit from this course.
