Course Introduction:
Petroleum storage tanks are rare, according to worldwide statistics. Despite of this fact they happen in real life. To be ready and well prepared, organizations dealing with storage tanks handling flammable and combustible materials must be prepared for this kind of emergency.
The program describes the different types of above ground atmospheric petroleum storage tanks, and the different extinguishing agents and systems, and the necessary planning, precautions and training.
