NMR Fundamentals and Advanced Interpretation

06-10-2025 - 10-10-2025 $4,200 Dubai

Course Introduction:

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is a powerful analytical technique widely used in chemistry, material science, and the oil and gas industry for characterizing molecular structures, reservoir fluids, and rock formations. This NMR Fundamentals and Advanced Interpretation training program provides a comprehensive theoretical understanding of NMR principles, instrumentation, data acquisition, and interpretation techniques. The course explores the fundamental physics of NMR, signal processing, relaxation mechanisms, and advanced interpretation methods used in qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Over five days, participants will delve into the theory behind NMR spectroscopy, various types of NMR experiments, and the applications of NMR in different industries. The course covers advanced topics such as two-dimensional (2D) NMR, diffusion-ordered spectroscopy (DOSY), and NMR applications in petroleum exploration and geosciences. By the end of this program, attendees will have the theoretical foundation needed to interpret NMR data, assess sample properties, and optimize analytical workflows.
