Integrating Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management System (HSEQMS)
Many petroleum and gas companies and industrial organizations have implemented a proactive approach to process hazards analysis and risk assessment under their Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management Systems. However incidents continue to occur due to inadequate hazards identification and risk assessment. This programmed analyses the present position of the participants, enhances and develops the skills and strategies required to apply the advanced and up-to-date techniques to identify process hazards and carrying out effective hazard analysis, risk assessment and Quality Management which will allow them to design the practical plans and implement effective actions to eliminate or reduce these hazards and risk, to realize the quality control and management in their organizations.
Upon successful completion of this course, the delegates will be able to:
Ø Receive proficiency in the methods of advanced and up-to-date techniques for hazards identification and the types of risk
Ø Set out clear guidelines for effective estimation and evaluation of risks to link between risk assessment and risk management
Ø Enable them to learn the role of human error and accident causation
Ø Review and develop their personal techniques for hazard analysis and be able to apply Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH), Check-Lists, HAZOP, and task based risk assessment
Ø Enable them to be familiar with selected commercial soft wares for dispersion modeling, fire explosion, toxic releases, temperature extremes, high voltage electricity and slippery work surfaces hazards
Ø Design a practical action plans and implement the effective actions which eliminate or reduce hazards and the risk in their workplace
Ø Develop the practical action plans and implement the effective actions which realize the quality control and management in their organizations
Ø Develop target setting, implementing, control and review of action plan
This course is intended for those who are responsible for health, safety and environment in the organization and those who are involved in OHSAS 18001 assessments of suppliers and potential suppliers such as management representatives, environmental managers, engineers, and consultants.
